Beer and Tacos
So there is a Taco Time that opened up and they sell alcohol. I don't know if tacos and beer would mix well. Is this a common thing with Taco Time now?
|
I guess that is one of the down sides to living in Utah, that would never happen here. Although, that would be so cool if it ever did.
From my experience beer and tacos do go well together. After the 2am runs to Del Taco we always bring the food home and continue drinking. |
corona and tacos maybe.
would happen here either (MD), would b cool though |
Tacos and beers go great...all the hippie burrito places around here have a great beer selection, and their tacos and burritos are fairly easy on the stomach....its the cheap fast food tacos that you've got to watch out for.

I am drooling at the thought. I think I might have to make tacos tonight.
|
Do tits and ass go together?
A better question migh be, "Can you have Tacos without beer?" Make haste to the nearest taco joint and order tacos and a Negro Modela or Bohemia or even a Dos Equis. Hell, order all three. |
Clavus, your words ring true!
Go easy on CanuckAlert, he's a rook from Canada. Tacos to them might not mean the same thing. Where I dwell, fresh tacos rain free from the sky almost every day. Sadly, I must purchase the beer. -GH |
MMMmmm... Tacos...
MMMmmm... Beer... Jalepenos and beer.. No greater recipe :) Only way to drown the fire. One downside though, your ringer will be burnin' and your dick will be pissin' and I have yet to find a two way toilet. |
I don't know, it seems like there would be too much gas from both ends to make this very comfortable.
|
Is there a better food combination than beer and tacos, I ask you? Nay! There is not!
But damn you CanuckAlert for making me drool like this when I'm trying to drop a few pounds! :) |
never heard of taco time before but i do know becasue i work at taco bell that if you eat before you get off of work and go to out drinking expecially beer you get very sick at least me and my friends do
|
When I have tacos we usually have a Margarita or two or three. It's just not a beer thing to us I guess.
Sorry for making you guys hungry. Taco Bell and Taco Time are very similar here. |
not that the point has been made or anything, but man, three words 1) good 2) good 3) good. i think that i will make tacos as well tonight
|
During the summer a bunch of people from this area go down to a place on the Delware shore called Dewey Beach. Well on Friday nights they have this thing called Taco Toss and let me tell you it never fails to live up to its name. Cheap beer and free tacos is certainly the recipe for some young college student to boot all over the floor. Guess its like some kind of rite of passage or something like that is the only explanation I can think of as to why they would combo these two things together.
|
Note to self: Tacos for Saturday night.
|
Hey H12, you know I'ma be at your party Saturday, and now I'm gonna hold you to this, my friend. There had better be fucking tacos there dawg.
I'll flip out. |
Yeah; tacos and beer are a great combo, *especially* in warm weather. They should be good tacos, though - I'm not sure I've tried it with anything from a fast-food place before. Always go to the local Mexican hole-in-the-wall, but I realize the asker of the question is in Canada (eh?), so there may not be many options.
Oh, man...tamales and Dos Equis in the-middle-of-nowhere Mexico between Rosarito and Ensenada on a 50-mile bike ride. http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/...0162191313.jpg that's the stuff that makes life worth living... |
Is there anything that beer doesn't go well with?
|
Oh sweet Jesus...meant it as a joke, but now, yikes. Gonna hafta have alot of tacos now; nothing worse than a flipped-out crow-daw.

Oh and yes we have Mexican places here that are not fast food. Those are the ones that we have the Margaritas at and then stumble home. |
Saw the thread title . . thought it was a sign to heaven . . . my two favourite food groups . . Tacos & Beer . . .
How much do these stooges (ie Taco Time) sell tacos for (I'm from Oz, and we don't have taco bell or taco time, but occassionally a stall in a food hall sells tacos for about $5 AUS [which is about $1.25 US (ha ha)] . . . . I usually eat about 10/12 tacos but my personal record is 19 [only stopped as the supply ran out] . . . . so it costs too much to eat out . . . . after starting don't seem to be able to finish until there's none left . . . |
I've traveled most of the states and parts of Asia and have come to the conclusion that, with the exception of Mexico, taco's get worse the farther you get away from California. I'm glad I live back in California now. I think I'll have tacos for dinner also.

|
Hmm... well it depends on what beer you'll be drinking.
|
tacos and beer surely you jest! We have no such thing here in MN, I mean to mix the two you must drive drunkenly to the nearest T Bell! I mean who hasn't made an inebriated dash for the Border at 1am?
|
tacos=good beer=bad
Mabie jack and tacos now theres a combo. |
tacos and corona would be lurvely
|
mmmm Chipotle and beer..... they have tacos and burritos and lots of beer..... nothing is better than that!
|
Okay, so you gots beer and you gots tacos, whatever could the problem be? I mean really, if you have both in the same room who could give a shit about farts or what your ring will feel like or any of the rest? Tomorrow will take care of itself! For my friends and I the only thing better may be HOT wings and massive amounts of beer.
Remeber to live in the now and regret later!! |
 sounds like extra time in the crapper to me !!!
