Why do ones nipples get hard when it's cold?


I know most guys are thankful for this but c'mon why does it happen?

nipples are sensitive...that's why most women like it when their s.o. plays with them... :)

So I can check em out in the frozen food section
at the store.

Same thing as goosebumps. When you get cold your skin pulls itself together to cause hair to stand up and provide better insulation. Just like the scroutm contracts in cold water, the breast does, but the skin of the nipple is soft, so it stretches over the tissue below it, becoming erect.

Sure took the fun out of that one, didn't I?

Damn you Killjoy! Oh well, Even knowing the science behind them will make them no less fun ;)

The only reason I like cold weather is hard nipples

Nothing like a girl in a thin white t-shirt with juicy, firm tits and hard, pointy nipples.

Being in south Texas, most people aren't used to cold weather, so when it's lower than 60, everyone is rocking the T.H.O.

it's the same reason why you get goosebumps. it's your body's way of trying to get warmer.

nothing like some hard nipples to raise your spirits.

Lets just say "Cause they're more fun that way" and leave it at that. :D

Mine are kind of hard right now.
