How to stay young looking?

Anyone have any tips/tricks/input on how to stay young looking? I have always dreaded the aging process buts its inevitable and would at least like to do so gracefully. Heres the skinny so far for me:

Nationality: American Filipino

Sex: Male

Age: 24

Smoke/Drink: never

Second hand smoke: Avoid at all costs

Fun in the sun: I avoid the sun's damaging/harmful UV rays

Exercise/physical activity: Minimum of 60 minutes cardio every day

Masturbation frequency: 4-7 times per day

Diet: Avoid red meat, opt for fruits/vegetables/chicken/limit carbs and all junk foods, never drink soda.

Stress levels: Try my best to keep it low as possible

You can post up your 411 using this information as a template and also provide tips/advice for others on how to stay young looking.

P.S. Were only talking about the looks department here, cognitive/brain power preservation is another issue which BTW I am constantly exercising my mind as well via word puzzles/reading/travel/lucid dreaming/etc.

Bathing in the blood of prostitutes is a wonderful way to stay looking youthful without having to resort to surgery or darker magics.

But seriously, vegetables, fruit, lean meats, exercise, moderate sunlight, exercise again, and having a sense of humor about things seems to be working well enough so far. I'm only 27, though, so the effects of age aren't apparent beyond a few odd gray hairs and my amazing ability to pull off loafers.

I'm fat, I drink, smoke, eat horribly, have had two kids and haven't had a stress or worry free moment... well I only remember being like this. I have few friends and therefore don't laugh often.

I'm about to turn 30. Mostly, people guess me to be around 22.

My advice? Find a younger significant other.

You left out fish. Perhaps lower stress some by having a dog or two and walk/exercise them twice a day for 45 minutes.
Happy with your job? Breathe clean air?

Fatty fish and green tea

Yoga, meditation, breathing exercises

Strong and rewarding social ties

think young...

You say you're American Filipino - I have yet to meet one who looks their age. Your nationality alone should go a long way toward looking young (at least in the eyes of this Caucasian). But if you're really concerned, here are a few things. Fit people always seem younger, as do people who are quick to smile.

With dry skin wrinkles will form easily while oily skin tends to stay wrinkle-free. If you have dry skin, moisturizing your face daily will reduce wrinkles, and prevent them from forming.

4-7 times a day?!?! That's impressive.

UnclearContent 07-28-2011 08:22 AM

More red meat.

Generally stress is what does most people in. Have as much fun as you can, get on a solid sleeping schedule, take care of your body.

Don't grow a beard.

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen.

Despite my obvious gray hair, most people think I'm in my early 20s.

for a second i thought i was the only person that noticed! the only way i see that as being a factor is that it diminishes the amount of testosterone in the body, therefore causing an older person to appear to be more "boyish"? i have no clue but its a guess

And moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Your state of mind is always important, stay open-minded, active and involved in good social and personal causes.

You're lucky because by genetics, as I had read - you'll always look younger than say, me...I'm caucasian and used to smoke cigs and have partied too hard for too may years. ** Luckily I've "gotten a clue" about those negative behaviors for my health & longevity and have stopped.

YES to the sunscreen. No matter what type your genetic DNA is - the sun's rays have gotten more intense over the last 20 years.

As a side bar: Personally I think the more fish you eat with alot less red meat makes good sense. Less additives & toxins in fish (in general) and better digestion.

Interesting topic. Thanks for writing!!

you may want to up your masterbation a little...4 to 7 times a day is a little infrequent...

Don't grow a beard.

1. Not sure about the red water cleanse lol but I do partake with my fair share of relaxation assistants. :)
+1 for the fruits and vegetables etc. and loafers are rad.

2. Laughter is the best medicine I believe and I would think hanging out with someone younger would make one look even more prehistoric. :P

3. Oh I eat fish ie Salmon...essestial omega fatty acids and what not. I have a ebony and ivory colored rat terrier that I take for walks/play with, she does help to ease my stress.

4. I drink 2-3 cups of green tea every day, read all about its benefits. I just make sure to rinse and if possible brush my teeth afterwards since it can and will stain my chompers.

5. I think young...therefore I are young....me thinks.

6. Yeah most of my cousins who are their 40s look like they are in their 30s and those in their 30s look like they are in their 20s etc. I have been told I look 18-19 at times...feels good no doubt. And yes staying in shape is always good...not just for the exterior but for one's internals as well. Also my skin type is oily....its like I never need moisturizer but I have heard even oily skin needs moisturizer? Anyways I did read having oily skin shows wrinkles less but is more prone to pimples/acne/blemishes etc. My complexion is fairly clear now but back then I got pimps and what not...there is some slight/miniscule scarring but for most part most people say my face looks fine.

7. Yeah I am just a whore knee bastid. :P Sometimes I wish I could just turn off the libido cause at times when at work/gym what not I get distracted by attractive females and need to release.

8. Yeah stress is more detrimental than most think. As for facial hair, I ask most of my friend girls and they say it makes guys look older. I personally like having a stubble thats about it...no policeman/pron star mustache and or grizzly beard.

1. Baz Lurhman's wear sunscreen....sofa king true. Everyone should watch this video....and embrace it. And props for looking young, keep up the good work.

2. Good jeans are hard to find...as well as genes.

3. I just do it a lot because A it feels good and B it reduces chance of prostate cancer (at least thats what I believe from my reading/advice)

4. Kudos to stopping the smoking and hard partying...dont get me wrong having fun is always good but within reason I say.

Here's mine:
Nationality: American Scandanavian

Sex: Female

Age: 34

Smoke/Drink: Never/Occasionally

Second hand smoke: Rarely frequent smoky places

Fun in the sun: I don't pay much attention...

Exercise/physical activity: Six floors of stairs at work...

Masturbation frequency: as needed...not so much anymore...

Diet: lots of red meat, fish, greens, low carbs (no flour, sugar, rice, potatoes) never drink soda.

Stress levels: I'm mellow, mostly.

I got asked for ID at a bar on my 30th birthday.:) I'm petite (5'1") which naturally looks young, so I'm told. The downside is that sometimes people don't take me seriously. The curse of cute, my mom calls it. I rarely wear makeup, the influence of my 'hippy' parents. Sandy/blonde hair, and fair skin, but I tan easily. I don't avoid the sun, but I don't seek it out either. I seriously avoid carbs which helps keep my skinny little bunns skinny. I get plenty of sleep, and enjoy sex whenever I can, especially in the morning, which really makes my guy happy.:) I'm active, love walking and horseback riding, but I don't exercise, per se.
And genetics. I picked parents that look young even in their sixties. My dad still has a full head of hair at 67 and Mom's a size 6 at 61. They would both look good in a crowd of 45 year olds.
