Google+ doesn't play perfectly with Opera and is very heavy, probable too much javascript.

settie, I don't know what kind of thing you are looking comparing it to Buzz. Since I'm following Michael Dell who is having 15 vid cam hangouts with people. Chris Pirillo is filling me with comedy as is the dude who does XKCD. The google team is putting up interesting content from their trip to the last space shuttle launch and the magic kingdom.

If you are like Guy Kawasaki who didn't share his posts, he wondered what the excitement is since no one interacted with him or responded to his entries.

It does take a while to load, but I find that if I just click the stream I want to look at, it clicks through just fine. No biggie.

I always assumed his name was Cyn the Tiq. Like Alexander the Great or Attila the Hun. Not sure what a Tiq is, though.

As soon as they open it up, the quality of interaction on public posts will plummet. Thankfully, you can still have conversations within circles.

Can't that be achieved by being discerning in choosing who you let in a given circle? I have a TFP circle right now, and I only really get stuff from Cynth, but even after it's open and there are plenty of folks in there, I'll let in people who I'm familiar with and who's opinions I genuinely value.

To all tfp-ers, I have been adding tfp-users to my tfp circle on Google+. If anyone has concerns about that, just drop me a note and I will undo it.

No one can see which circles you put people into; they can only see who you have circled.

I got an invitation to Google+ from a friend. Didn't know what it was but figured I'd try it....until I saw that it was a social networking site. For those of you on it do you see yourself migrating completely away from FB at some point?
