droid x
i have a droid x cell phone. does anyone know how to extract the photos so i can post them onto the site?:confused::confused:

The charging cable is a USB cable, take it out of the wall outlet adapter and plug your phone into your computer. A Droid X window will pop up and give you a bunch of options including "copy pictures and videos"

that is the shit. i love it. thanks...

Fair warning -- dropbox's security sucks nads. Big hairy ones. Don't put anything up there that you don't want potentially anyone to be able to gain access to.
|
I just email them to myself and pick them up from my mailbox, save as etc. I use photobucket to upload and then post the IMG tags. This way I don't have to plug anything in. I hate doing that shit even as simple as it is.
|
To get pics off of my enV2, I text them to Photobucket (if I want my mom to also see them), or I text them to my email (if they're private).

Since we're on the subject of the Droid X, have you noticed any changes in reliability/stability of the OS or applications in the past month or two?

Operating system.

Yes they seem to have glitches at times. Seemswhen it happens to me I have to power it off and back up.
|
phones in general seem to do well with a reboot periodically, even my old crackberry seemed to like one at least once a week.
To share photos anywhere though just go to the gallery and longpress on the pic you want to work with and choose "share" from the menu that comes up. You can also get the Share options from viewing the picture itself and selecting the share icon that comes up, or hitting menu and share if you have a hardware keyboard. |
