25M Bounty for bin Laden...
 

Who should get the money?

I'd like to think it would go to the Navy Seals, but that won't happen.

Maybe our government could donate the 25M (and more) to military people who have lost limbs or sight during the reign of bin laden. That would help them deal with all the challenges they have to face.

I always thought only civilians and "bounty hunter" type of people could collect bounties. Civil Servants (military, cops, ect) wouldn't be able to collect it because they were just doing their job.

I also thought it was $10 million, not $25.

Give it to the VA. They need it.

I thought it was $50M.

I think the CIA and SEALs should get some bonus, or put it towards a new helicopter...

I would like to see it put towards building the new building at ground zero or accelerating it's construction. Or maybe the best thing to do is to use it to pay for the health effects of the people at ground zero that day who didn't have air masks on for some reason.

US military personnel or other government employees are not allowed to receive "bounties." Not sure about US contractors working in the area. From every thing I've read no one really coughed him up so no one should get it. It really only exist on paper, we've spent enough on the guy.

Oh and BG right, it's 50 million... or was.

the SEALS cant benefit from this because they are doing their job. I guess it brings into question the integrity of the event if money is at stake. Its like employees of competitions that cant claim prizes because of a possible conflict of interest.

if i was them, the kill would have been enough. for them it wasnt about the 25M because it was never on the table.
