CANADA Stones & Friends July 30, Questions re:
Canada Wednesday July 30, 2003, Downsview Park, Toronto Ontario, *We Ain't Got No SARs Benefit, * a/k/a
Rolling Stones and Friends. Okay, I've never been to Downsview Park. How does one get through an entire day (gates open at 10 a.m., show starts at 2 p.m.-- will probably go well past midnight) with these rules? NO COOLERS, NO LAWN CHAIRS, NO BLANKETS, etc... ...when it's on-the-grass seating? Hints, tips? Any suggestions on parking? And while on the topic, is anyone going to the show? |

I wish i was going, but alas will not be in town at that time.
Sigh. Then again, 600,000 people or something like that are supposed to be going, and that's a little overwhelming. Getting there....... Take the subway dude. The university line runs up to downsview. It's going to be a nightmare getting out of there regardless of how you get there. you could always check out www.toronto.com for different means of getting there. why not rent a helicopter? salut |

You CAN take bottled water with you, I think there is a limit of 2 bottles per person, and they will take the cap off at the gate (caps can be used as projectiles). They are also rethinking the 'blanket' policy.
Take the subway, parking will be a nitemare.
