So i'm going on a Vegas trip tomorrow..

for about 3 nights. Me and my 5 friends have been planning this for weeks. Anyone know of any fun places to be in this sinful city? I don't want to be hitting the tables as much because i'm flat broke on a budget. :(

Anyone have any fun vegas memories they would like to share? I know i'm not abiding by the vegas confidentuality slogan of anything occurring there stays there, but still..!

Wish my luck! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

The cheapest drinks I found were at the back of Bally's at this Mexican restaurant. They had $1 margaritas and $1 tacos.

And LAX was a better club that I was able to get into for free. Jet charged me $20, even though had a free pass, and the one at Wynn had this crazy long line.

Yeah have fun dude, I have only been to vegas once, and that was with my parents when I was 15. I have never understood the allure of vegas, everything you can do there I can do here in Los Angeles.

I went to a "free" adult show in the afternoon. They had some racy bits showing some boobage. It wasn't quite free, you had to buy a drink at the bar to get in, which cost about $10 each.

We did pay to see Showgirls, which was great. We met Penn and Teller in the hallway.

We didn't do much at the casinos. What we did was rent two Harleys and cruised around. Make sure to see the Hoover dam and Valley of Fire and Red Rock Canyon.

The ride to the south rim of the Grand Canyon was good (route 66), but give yourself plenty of time to get there and back. We went at March break and it gets bloody cold at night in the desert.

Take lots of photos.

Watch 'The Hangover' to understand how to do Vegas. :)

I hate to say it, but if you don't like Vegas, it's not the city that is too blame. Yes, it would get tiring if you lived there, but I like visiting. If I have no money, I can keep entertained. (Last time I went I got into the pool at Bally's for free, saw the Miss Universe girls, went to the LAX nightclub until 1am, and found cheap drinks at the Mexican restaurant in Bally's). If I have money to burn, the city is setup to take it from me. But what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas.

The Grand Canyon and Valley of Fire state park are great places to see, but they are far away, unless you take the helicopter ride.
