Faith - Religion = ???
This thread is to discuss what faith is. Now I am talking the kind of Faith you have when you take religion out of the picture, if that can be done.
My dictionary states that Faith is: The confident belief or trust in the truth or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. But what does that mean to the everyday person. What do you think?

I believe faith is an extension of trust. I think that its the next step up from it. If you think about it they walk and in hand.
IE i trust my friend, i have faith that he will be there for me when i need him.
