So I picked this stuff up at the gas station called K2 on the recommendation of a friend... it's called K2 and I guess it is synthetic cannabis, that is, incense that is sprayed with lab-developed cannabis and then you are "not" supposed to smoke it. Does anyone know anything about this stuff? is it harmful (at least comparable to smoking the normal stuff)? It is slightly easier to get, but other than that there's no huge advantage. It definitely works, though...

Thoughts, anyone?

I doubt it will happen by accident. Anything with legal cannabinoids in it is going to run $30-40 a gram and is "incense" in the same way that butyl nitrate is an "air freshener" and that cool looking water pipe is "for tobacco use only."

Not to "spark" a new debate, but I always love the "it's illegal" arguement. It's not like you can't find it easily pretty much anywhere. (anywhere I have been anyhow) If you have half a brain, you will never get caught. Even if you do the penalties for posession of less than an oz. is a slap on the wrist.

You'll get a similar or worse ticket for speeding or running a red light - which are just as illegal as posession. There are plenty of people who would never think of touching pot despite always driving 20+ mph over the limit.

Besides, is there really any difference in smoking a legal substance to get loaded vs. smoking something that isn't for the same reason?

Hahah, seriously I have to echo the above sentiment, stick with the real thing. I have no idea how safe something like that is (although I'm sure it wont hurt you), but the idea of spraying lab created cannabis on a stick of incense is just...well that's plain old fucked up. Honestly, we're spraying incense sticks with fake weed...fake weed? Did I just type that? All this makes me think of is how unbelievably stupid our current drug laws are and the ridiculous lengths people have to go to just to get high and have a little fun.

Anyway, personally you couldn't pay me enough to sit there trying to get high on that...god damn, the "weed" the teenagers sell behind the gas station is probably better, and I would imagine better for you.
