Ametc, if you want to read for Shani, have her send you a piece of jewelry worn by the person you are reading for her at a long distance. That seems to help quite a bit. I've had the "gift"- (it's an easy word to use in this instance) since an OBE too. I don't tell many people about it....but it has saved my life at 4 different occasions (probably more). Sometyimes it's really scary & not much of a gift, more of a curse, because I have had dreams that have come true and they aren't always easy to endure. I once knew a big earthquake was going to occur in SF, CA. and it happend 24 hours later. I've moved away from CA. since - too shakey for me!!

If some people don't care to believe - it's usually becuase they are very young souls unable to understand the quantum energy and other levels of reality involved. DOn't waste time trying to enlighten the, the old pearls before swine quote...'huh!?

If I can help you let me know. Yeah, I'm that Reiki lady too.

I haven't told you the more profound things that have happened, not by a long shot. Nor will I. Events that had high emotional states for me, or for both my wife and I, are not up for debate. If you thought simply seeing a man walk across my room was weird...ha. There's a reason why those things barely affect me now.
+1 there. That kind of thing has been my experience too both with myself and people I have privately interviewed. At least of the people I know the things they are willing to talk about publicly are nothing compared to the intense, religious-like experiences they've had. Some things are just private and no science, nor money will make them account for it publicly.

We test theories, some are right, some are wrong, some we think are right for hundreds of years only to prove them wrong and improve our understanding. There is nothing in science that says something *can't* exist only that it has not turned up any evidence so far.
I know that. I'm not a science fanatic, and my statements were a bit out there, but what I'm trying to express is how anyone could have these events occur to them so often and not care to alarm the world about them. The impact of these events being real is absolutely huge, there is no getting around that. Yet when it comes down to it, they are never provable or replicable, and the people that experience them don't care to show the world how wrong they are. Why? If I ever experienced anything of the sort that's been spoken of in this thread, I would write a fucking book about it, I would start a website about it, I would keep a log of everything like that that ever happened. It would be life-changing, it would be ground breaking, it would rip apart everything I believe in. But the people in this thread act like it's part of everyday life!!!

Hehe....drives you crazy doesn't it?

I'm laughing out loud at that. For real.

When you get to this point, you don't tell everyone. People shun you, think you're nuts and question your motives. Kinda like what you see in this thread, but with body language and furrowing eyebrows intact. Plus, when people get to this point, we kind of seem to find this mindset and somehow agree on the concept that others will or won't know here, and it simply doesn't matter because the truth is only a non-beating heart away. It's like a loose group of monks that happened by accident, at least from the view of the outside world. Again let me reiterate that I do not claim to know some golden truth. If I know one truth, one singular truth, it is that not one person on this planet knows the universal truth. We can only try to work out what works for us as individuals.

Some people do keep logs. When you find them, just like ghosthunters, you disapprove and shoot them down. They're nuts. It's BS. They're in it for them money. Can you not see the obvious paradox involved in what we have discussed and how it relates to the very thing you said? It's humorous to me. But then I'm tired and coming home from work to read your post started the night off right LOL. I mean that in the most friendly way you can take it.

I would say it is indeed a part of every day life. My wife and I have both had experiences and when I tell her about a spirit I saw, she just kinda grunts or whatever and goes on doing whatever she's doing. It really is a normal thing. We don't think twice about it unless it's much more apparent or annoying than the others.

Yes I see that I am reacting in a typical way to these claims even though I ask those who experience them to tell about them. I guess it's just hard to believe in something that you can't experience for yourself.

I understand. Do you feel that there may be something else out there, or is it more of a curiosity?

My mind doesn't work like that. I can't believe in something just for the sake of believing in it. But I am very, very interested in what the masses are experiencing when they say they see a spirit or ghost or a supernatural phenomenon. Obviously something is happening, and that is very interesting.

Do they actually have the power to send us signs, signals, good-will, or otherwise influence us, etc.?

also, where in the universe are they located, exactly?

I always see baseball players and other sports figures throwing kisses at the sky. Is there any reason whatsover to think our dearl departed are literally "above" us?
They're actually here.. with us. But, on a different plane of existence. A different type of dimension.. but all dimensions tie in with eachother. And it's not an alternate reality I'm talking about.. it's more like. When you breathe in and out. One dimension.. their dimension (our "home") would be like when we breathe out.. and our dimension is when we breath back in. We occupy the same area.. just in completely different ways. :P Hard to explain without putting my religious beliefs into it. They are above us.. but they are also with us.. they can be everywhere at once, so you can look to the sky and talk to them or look down at a gravestone and talk to them. they'll be listening either way.

Also, yeah.. they have the ability to send us signals and messages. Just, they can't control our decisions.. just give us suggestions.

oohh.. kk! I'd rather not have people sending me their things just so I can do a reading. And when it comes to online readings, I usually use tools like cards and pendulums.. so those make it a lot easier for me.

For the whole science thing: Science can not yet prove or disprove anything about psychic abilities and the spirit realm. I'd rather not argue about my psychic abilities unless the person I'm arguing with has similar abilities as well. It's like trying to argue about what shade of blue something is with a blind person.

Tons of people have even the tiniest amount of psychic ability.. as a society, though, we choose to ignore them.. mostly out of fear and confusion. So, if anybody had even the slightest knowledge that a certain disaster was going to occur, I highly doubt people will believe them.. and if the disaster occurred after we were told about it, how would we feel about it ourselves? What would be our reaction towards the person or people that told us?

This is probably why people don't KNOW about disasters.. but they FEEL them coming.

I become more of a skeptic (about others' abilities to read folks) when people want to read for me and they have never met me!

In truth, I think you need to be around them or meet them at least once to get a good "read". However, I could be wrong. It's easier to see auras and pick up their vibe in person. Ever met someone with that ugly balck cloud hanging over them? Thats what it's like for me when I read people.
