About to dig into Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky brothers. They're supposed to be the pinnacle of Russian science fiction. If you Google, you can find a text file of this book, but I won't link to it, because I don't know if it's legit.

I've also got some Asimov lined up. I'm gonna try to finish one of his books this time. |
Finished "The War of the Flowers" by Tad Williams last week - good fantasy book, short for Williams it is a complete story in one reasonably long book.
Now I am reading "Neuromancer" by William Gibson and "Guns, Germs & Steel, The Fates of Human Societies" by Jared Diamond. Both are fantastic. Cheers to everyone reading Herman Hesse and if you have nevery read anything by Neil Gaiman, you should. |
