Forgot about that, I don't know what the rules are anymore. When I got in it was 250 posts, now it's mod approval I think.

According to some thread in support it was after a combination of 250 Posts, length of stay (I think a months worth) and then mod approval. Half your posts aren't going to count because nonsense and the EZ board (anybody know what EZ stands for?) don't count towards your total. And then eliminate the little side commentaries here and there because a post consisting of ':lol:' or 'ROFL' or "I cringed" also does not count towards your total.

Being a mod has to be a pain in the ass!!!

You can also get on TFP chat to "shoot the shit" with people there.

50 quality posts + 30 days, then mod approval.

The 250 posts limit is for Tilted Exhibition; everything else is 50 posts and always has been.

EZ = Erogenous Zone = "naughty pictures n' stuff" :thumbsup:

Not as much as you'd think. We have a script which automatically shows us the people who might qualify to be upgraded, so it typically happens soon afterward.

It is why the off topic lounging about area is after participating here for a while. It's an earned thing...

No you haven't. There's many other forums you don't have access to just yet, and you won't until you've contributed to the community in a positive manner.

Some will come automatically and some via the script that was mentioned in this thread.

IMO the only real off-topic area is the first one you'll get access to after a specific time and posting amount.
