It's been awhile and I'm curious... how old are you?
It's been awhile (a few years I think) since we've had an age survey, and I'm curious what the avg age is of the current TFPer. Please take a moment and let us know how old you are!

Nice work Ranger, I am currently in the second most populous (thus far) bracket... in two weeks time I move from the middle of it to the farther end. Its a scary thought, I feel as if I am getting old and I don't want to.

Ok, so at this point, there's 461 views and 106 votes. Unless there are a lot of people who are won't admit their age, or someone is hitting the Refresh button one too many times.
And it looks like the average age seems to be 20-ish through 40-ish, not bad. |

I'm quite fascinated by the split age distribution.

It's not really split, more like a bell. The poll doesn't have equally sized options, due to the fact I knew there would be more 20- and 30-somethings than older members.
Broken down by decade, we've got: 0-20 - 2 21-29 - 47 30-39 - 32 40-49 - 16 50-59 - 9 60-69 - 2 70+ - 2 |
it would also be interesting to see the numbers broken out by gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and posting frequency...time for a census! :p

Age is just a number. That said, I considered bumping down a category for some unknown reason. I wonder how many actually do, even with the anonymity of the internet.

Turned 31 last month, but I feel younger than I did 10 years ago. Hitting 30 has been a jolt. It really makes me appreciate the things I have to look forward to.

I thought it was most straightforward to give my calendar age, 53. But inside my head, it feels like about 23 -- which makes it ok that I'm always drooling over 20-year-old girls. On the other hand, some mornings getting out of bed, I think the left knee is about 115. Creeeeeeak.

Funny, I don't think I've ever come to terms with my age here. I'm a few days shy of twenty.
