I heard on the news that one of these butt heads on the show was supposed to go to Edmonton next week and do a comedy show at the local club. The owner of the club cancelled this guy's ticket saying that he couldn't guarantee his safety. (And he'd be right about that!)

Edmonton I believe is home to the Princess Patricia's Light Infantry. (Many of their ranks have served in Afghanistan or are there now.)

Gawd, how I wish they had let that guy do that show....and sent some free tickets to the Pats. :) I would have jumped on a plane just to see that.

Once again we see the opinion or ""satire"" of someone with a media outlet represented as the thoughts of a nation. This is pure BS when related to how the rank and file of America see our allies. I personally apologize for having this idiot be a fellow citizen. With that said, I reluctantly defend his right to his opinion and right to spout it off. In the US I believe we are now represented in the media and to a great degree in our government by people that do NOT share the beliefs, ethics and morals of the country as a whole. As for Canadians in particular, they have been historically one of our most steadfast allies. We are extremely dependent upon one another for security due to the shared border. As for those who gave up their lives in service of their country, we all grieve for them and send condolences to their families.

Most may not watch him, but enough obviously do, he's been on the air for a couple of years now, I'm like you, I don't watch him, I don't know anyone who watches him, you have to subscribe to Fox up here and that just isn't worth my money.

The show is on Fox News at 3am. I don't think there is much more to say. We've already given the idiots on that show more attention and a bigger bump in the ratings than they deserve.

Can your ratings go up at 3am? Aren't you just stuck with cokeheads and crackheads as your main audience, they're the ones who can stay up that late the easiest.

Their peak rating had 140,000 viewers, in a country of over 300,000,000. That's what I mean when I say most don't watch.

Cool, thanks for clarifying MSD, I had no idea what their viewership was, must be hard to get ratings at that time of the night, although I've been up stoned at that time quite often and find myself watching infomercials, for no good reason really, other than I'm too high to change the channel hahaha

It's hard enough when you have a sense of humor. I can fully sympathize with watching infomercials high, although I also do it out of sheer boredom and insomnia at times.

This show is obviously a comedy show and they are obviously joking. You guys are running around throwing a hissy fit about a comedy show joking about MANY countries including themselves. You may call Americans ignorant but I would have to say that you guys on these forums are the ignorant ones for not being able to distinguish between an real news show and a comedy show.

Pretty much. It's comedy. It may not be a form of comedy that everyone likes... but its comedy. In fact its comedy that is MEANT to OFFEND. If you are offended by something coming from this show then the show is doing its job. Its not a serious show and it really doesn't matter what the channel its on is called.

Watch 5 minutes of any episode and you will see how seriously they take stuff.

My dad used to get upset at every little pessimistic joke Jon Stewart would make about the war. He'd wave his arms and shout out the term 'anti-american' every few minutes. Stewart was happy that the war was going badly. He was taking joy in the misery of American soldiers.
