Students Unite!
Just wondering how many people here are in school, and what for. I'm starting school this month for my BSN. Took me a while to finally decide that's what I wanted, but I finally made it.

I'm back in school for additional Bachelor's degrees in Human Development and Family Science with an Early Childhood Development and Education option and Education. I'll graduate with my teacher's license, endorsed for K-8. I already have a B.A. in English. Being a post-bacc student is interesting. It has a lot of advantages--namely, I already know what resources are available to me, and I know how to negotiate the bureaucracy that is omnipresent in higher education. There are some disadvantages too; being back in intro classes at age 26 can be a difficult experience. My idiot tolerance is lower than it used to be.

I leave tomorrow for the first actual week of orientation for my PhD in clinical psych. I have to get another master's through this particular program so it's going to be a bitch for the next six years. It's the only distance program that's APA certified, so I'm willing to sacrifice a bit.

I'm a student at an acting conservatory in Toronto, Ont. Second term of six, but we have to re-audition in may for third term. I'll be fine. I was, prior to the conservatory, at a liberal arts university for a double major in political science and honors Drama.
