Calling Dr. King, calling Dr. King!

World's King can probably help, Lily.

I used to be a back-up food and beverage controller in college; most of my work focused on food, but sometimes liquor inventory came up.

Could you be a little more specific in you question?

I usually walk in, look around and see how many small groups of ladies there are and which of those women seem to be be having the most fun- laughing, joking etc... who's wearing a wedding ring... that type of stuff. But I'm sure everyone does it a little different.

I'm here...

I don't really understand what you're asking.

And you really should be talking to the management of the bar.

usually they just want you to get a close estimate of how much is in the bottle and how many fulls you have...for example the only bar that i worked at where i had that responsibility i was supposed to estimate in percent....ie there's 35% rail whiskey with 15 spare bottles so I'd fill out 35 in the partial column and 15 in the full....it might be a different method of measuring but it's probably about as easy as that...

Ummmm . . . how about counting the empty bottles at the end of the night?
Worked for me for over a decade.
