They found wood on mars
 

I didnt see this in any other forum, so...

They have a picture of a plank of wood on Mars, allegedly leaked from NASA, allegedly not photoshopped. The article goes on to say there are vast forests on mars. I wonder if there is some guy with a band of merry men poaching the king´s deer in the forest.

how would a plank be there? A chunk perhaps? but a plank? that would imply that somebody created it out of a larger piece, using tools.

I'm reminded of the time, 20-30 years ago, a "face" was found on the surface of Mars, like the head of a giant humanoid statue lying face-up in the Martian soil. And, hey, that was long before the advent of the WWW and PhotoShop, right?

Yes it's the Cydonia region on Mars. They have revisited it on many missions. It turned out to be a trick of light and shadow.

That's from when Hercules got pissed off and chucked a bunch of wood into space. Some of it managed to hit Mars, the god of war.

The stories handed through my ancestors to me all indicate that the wood plank was intentionally left behind by the vikings who journeyed to Mars long ago.

I just knew somebody was going to go there...

I'm suprised no one has accused them of faking the whole thing and shooting it in a dry lake bed somewhere...
