sounds like a classic case of food poisoning. usualy happens when food isnt stored very well or left out.

So much win with Batter. I make Cheesecake on a regular basis and eating the batter is one of my great joys! I love anything undercooked though. When I make Banana bread I leave the middle a bit soft. *drool*
