Halx wondered if we would want to have an RP section where you could have games. I'm extending the idea to wonder if any of you like to RP. I have belonged to other forums in the past where RP was involved and I found it quite enjoyable. You can have it character-development oriented or combat oriented (with a few overarching rules) and then have tournaments or whathaveyou. It can be fantasy (which was my favorite), modern, medieval, anything you can imagine. That's what RP is for, expressing your creative side with others in collaborative writing. I was wondering if anyone would want to do that here?

I tend toward doing more real-time RP but could help out if it was decided to do forum-based here.

I wish I had the time to dedicate to an occasional game. I'm afraid I'd leave people waiting for me to take my turn, though. Unless it's my weekend, which is Monday/Tuesday.

You could always organize a game yourself and just have it meet weekly

. Have the players try to commit to an hour or so of play every week at a specific time or somesuch?

We used to have a forum for it. It was pretty dead, but I'd be willing to give it a go again.

I prefer fantasy myself. Knights and mages and thieves and dragoons and other fun stuff. I'm a magic-user in whatever RP I join, unequivocally. Dunno why, it's just the best outlet for my creativity.
