Ok, so this snake doesn't want to eat the hamster it was offered. You'd think governments would do the same to their taxpayers eh? With all the wars and infighting in the world today, you wonder sometimes if two rivals in nature can do this, why can't the most advanced species figure it out once in awhile.

I saw a National Geographic special where an alligator, maybe it was a croc, took a turtle hatchling in its mouth, carried to the water, & released it. Pretty cool.

An interesting thought from one of the youtube posters:

But the snake doesn't seem to be avoiding the hamster. It just isn't eating it. I wish I could understand what they were saying on the video. Like what the snake normally eats with the hamster in the cage, and if this frightens the hamster watching another creature being eaten. I also wonder if the snake has ever eaten live prey, or if they've always been frozen mice.
