The C-string?

We're all familiar with what a g-string is. Well now we have the c-string:

My first thought was "There's no way that's worn the way I think it's worn". They are:

That's downright strange....

Manic_Skafe 08-30-2008 04:39 PM

...

Good luck adjusting that thing in public.

ngdawg 08-30-2008 06:19 PM

If anyone wearing one of those farts, they could put someone's eye out...

 NgDawg is wise.

xepherys 08-30-2008 07:23 PM

I'm not quite sure how I feel about those...

Grasshopper Green 08-30-2008 07:52 PM

I don't get it. What's the point?

ngdawg 08-30-2008 09:05 PM

This is so funny bacause it's the first thing I thought of and I just now went back and read the comments:

ok, i know it's not designed like this, but all it reminds me of are those snap bracelets. ya know? that are just straight bands, and you slap them on your wrist, and they instanly curl around and stay on. so all i can picture is this contraption "unsnaping" when you sit down

sadistikdreams 08-30-2008 09:39 PM

So unsexy. Like, looking at the chicks wearing them, I'm like.... Ugh. Who would wear that?

The point is to have something with the benefits of going commando (no panty lines, or panty sides, depending upon the cut of the skirt) without the drawbacks of potentially letting the world gaze up your birth canal. I know a few gymnasts/ballet dancers would probably wear these, as their costumes many times don't allow for ANY panties.

Just think of them as crotch-pasties.

Jeez, I didn't even think of it in those terms. You're like a panty savant.

Vigilante 08-30-2008 11:07 PM

LOL just use duct tape. At least it would conform better.

I kid I kid. God I love new beach fads. Why not just go nude? We need more nude bitche...err...beaches. Sorry ladies, tasteless joke.

EDIT: Someone is going to cram the backside that thing up their ass, I just know it.

blahblah454 08-30-2008 11:45 PM

Wow, talk about completely un-sexy. I just can not imagine how that would be even close to being comfortable. It does remind me of one of those bracelet-snap-bands.

Charlatan 08-31-2008 01:43 AM

Looks good to me...

jewels 08-31-2008 02:54 AM

The comments on the linked page are a riot. This is the one sums it up for me:
Quote:

MANY REASONS FOR FAIL:

1. I am not convinced that that thing won't just fall out.
2. Even if it doesn't fall out, I bet the end that goes up against the top of your butt crack digs in something fierce.
3. How does it feel when you're sitting down? If it's like a coat hanger won't it get bent out of shape and then you'll have to re-bend it when you stand up?
4. I ride a bicycle everywhere and I think that would probably equal pain.
5. The bit at the front looks dumb.
6. I agree that there's little point in wearing anything if you're gonna go this far, unless maybe you're a stripper in a state that doesn't allow vaginal nudity.
7. FAIL

Sion 08-31-2008 06:24 PM

I dig it

Everyone knows that women don't fart.

Crotch-pasties. I need to work this term into my vocabulary somehow.

Tell my ex that.

Wire doesn't seem like a comfortable idea for that part of my body.
Then again, I wasn't too thrilled about underwire bras when they first showed up, either. Now I think they're the best thing since sliced bread. Maybe these C strings will appeal to me at some later date.

Dancers would not wear these. They wear tights for pete's sake, what do they need panties for? I spent my adolescence as a serious dancer, trust me, they would be extremely uncomfortable and any serious dancer would not wear them. Besides, they poke out! They would show! Making these, seriously, one of the most stupid things I've ever seen. But, I swear, put a chia pet on a woman's pussy and all of a sudden it would become a potentially useful item.

Yea, when you're like...70...and your crotch needs a lift

Ayashe 09-01-2008 06:23 PM

From the looks of it, I am not quite sure that I would jump in and say that it would be uncomfortable. It may be nice beneath a dress to avoid the panty lines, other than that I don't care for the look of them.

I imagine a wrong move in a public restroom flinging the thing from outside of my stall. Some innocent bystander handing it back to me under the door as if it was missing toilet tissue.

MSD 09-02-2008 11:58 AM

I thought at first that it was the thing from a few years ago that's pretty much a crotch cover with a butt plug to hold it in place. That never seemed like a comfortable idea to me, either.

Oh my, you really had me rolling on that one. I don't think it is meant to be inserted. I watched the video even, I could be wrong. I think it is more like a crotch headband.

Yeah, this one would hurt, but the one I was thinking of was a polished metal shaft with a nice, ergonomic ball on the end.

Ah finally, the females have an answer to Borat's swimwear...

That's just a ripoff of what Cher wore in her video for "If I Could Turn Back Time." Plus, the shoulder straps put it in an entirely different class of ... personal wear.

biznatch 09-03-2008 03:31 PM

I'm surpised nobody's made any programming nerdy jokes. Then again, they wouldn't be very funny.

dumbhack 09-03-2008 03:59 PM

I wholeheartedy support this invention
