I'm looking at a nice motorcycle on ebay that's got a really attractive buy-it-now price. trouble is, I live in Ohio, so it's not convenient for me to go look at it and I hate buying sight unseen.

anyone want to take a trip "up to Annandale"* and check it out for me?

If you are interested, PM me asap. In appreciation of such a favor, should it come to pass, I intend to make a donation to the TFP in your name ($25 for looking...$50 if I end up buying)

I would have answered sooner but I had to find out where Annandale was. If the bike is still available to look at, I can probably go later this week. PM me the ebay link.

funny you should ask that ngdawg...I was just looking at flights to Allentown, PA and Newark, NJ which are about equidistant from Annandale and can get a very good price to Allentown.

well gang, the search is over and I am now the proud owner of the beast in the pictures below...and I gotta tell you

I'M LOVIN' IT SO FAR!!!!

rides like a dream, power to spare, excellent condition and best of all, it's MINE, ALL MINE...whooooohoooooooo!

(details, for those interested: 86 Honda V65 Magna, 1100cc, liquid cooled, shaft-driven...and yes, the first thing I did when I got it home is take off that silly looking tank bag. Think I'll try to mount it to the back of the sissybar.)

I want to thank ngdawg again for his generous offer to go look at the one in Jersey for me (which unfortunately got snapped up before he could ever get to see it). I'll be making a donation to the TFP real soon in his honor.

This one I bought locally in Marysville, Ohio, from a guy who used to work for Honda. It's been VERY well taken care of and is in excellent shape for a 22 year old bike.

sion is a happy guy this day.
