I've been using fromBasics Dark, but I really like Blacksmart.

I voted for these:
USFTECH=cool and I like the colours. but might be a bit too tech/sci-fi. Desert Sand= i like the colours but not the title. Rooq=this one reminds me of VB bulletin. which is what i'm using now. Will you be keeping the old ones? |
Nothing beats the TFP green! The only other one I could stand was bo20.

I was really jazzed to see Desert Sand back, but it doesnt look the same as it did a few version ago :( I like it though

I like lighter colored skins - for some reason the darker ones hurt my eyes. I like Desert Sand as well, better than the I-Bulletin I currenly use.

Out of these, I like Simplicity the best... but I think I'll stick with TFP green. It's totally classic.

I'm going to give Blacksmart a try for now and see how it grows on me. It has the most potential among the newcomers.
If I decide against it, I'll be going back to Frombasicsdark Wide. That's a keeper. |

you need to keep VBulletin 3. it's the easiest on the eyes. And it looks just like the green but lighter.

I bulletin is ok but too white. Atleast with the dark blue in VBulletin 3, it made a contrast between posts. It is still my favourite.

Im liking Black smart, Basic dark, and for some reason Blue Star.

USFTech is my favorite, I find it to be the most readable. BlackSmart is good too. I also like BlueStar and Desert Sand. The main thing I didn't like about some of the light colored themes is that the text is too light colored, not enough contrast.

I'm in agreement with Medusa. I've been going thru them all and the dark ones really hurt my eyes. On the other hand, the really lighter ones do as well-as laconic said, their contrast isn't enough on most besides the v3.

Why do most of the themes have the same color for followed and notfollowed links? Can that be adjusted?
(edit) I just checked all of the themes, and only TFP Green visually distinguishes between links you have read and links you haven't. Since that's critical to how I use TFP, I can only use Green. |
Redlemon, Insignia has very slight color difference between new and visited links.

Blue Star is the best one. Followed by the vBulletin 3, followed by I-Bulleltin.
I can't believe so many of you like BlackSmart. Eye strain major. o_O. |
