I would. In the grand scheme of things, $100K isn't really going to matter if you are taking home $90 million.

If you won $90 million, giving that person $100,000 would only amount to 0.001% of your winnings. A mere drop in the bucket. You could even give that person $1,000,000 and that would still only be 0.01% of what you won. Damn, $90 million is a butt load of money.

Every time I buy a ticket for Powerball, it's the same lady and I tell her that if she sells me the winning ticket she gets 100K. I'm secretly hoping she buys herself some new teeth. Those ugly, black, rotting stumps in her face are a little on the nasty side. I know that she'l probably blow it on booze and cigarrettes though.

I would probably give 100k to every person in my family, then I would be on Maury Povich four years later crying about being broke....

Yes. If I said I'd do something, I would do everything that I could to keep my word.

If you are going to say you are going to do something then you must follow through. If you have any morals, at all, that is!

its not going to be 90 million. You only get 90 million if you receive it as a stream over 20-30 years. If you opt for the lump sum payment, it's going to be substantially less than 90 million.

and remember to halve that because of taxes.

Why would you do that? I like Bateman's idea, but I would make the bounty $10k less than I promised the person, so I would still come out ahead and wouldn't have to worry about that person suing me.

I cant say that I would promise something like that in the first place but with 90 million I would defiantly be trying to help out my family and friends and donate some, after I had bought EVERYTHING I wanted for myself first! But what the heck if i was feeling that grateful I might just give the person who sold it to me a little something!

Yeah, I would definitely follow through if the winnings were substantial (meaning, millions). Though, if it is someone who was younger I would probably put it in a college fund or something to ensure it wasn't spent on drugs or something like that. :O

I agree. If you made the promise and it's an amount that makes the 100,000 look negligible, you should definitely follow through.

I would definitely do my best to keep my word and share my wealth...especially with my friends and family
