This would be really useful in Tilted Politics where thread titles aren't neutral enough to promote discussion. Did I say not neutral enough? I meant inflammatory.

Well personally I think that if you wanted a genuine debate, you wouldn't post a poll with such a neutral title as "Do you think X is a good president, or a f**ked up, c*cksucking, piece of sh*t asshat who needs to be burnt on a stake?". I'm exaggerating, but only slightly...

I know that there have been renamed threads in the past on occasion, and I'll sometimes wonder "Why does that thread say that I responded? I don't remember a thread with that title..."

I agree with this. I sometimes think that a thread got deleted or removed. Not so much from this board, but others have been known to do it.

So is anyone opposed to this?

Countess Jewels was opposed but her opposition was thwarted by mighty supporting arguments from Lord Halx. Master Percy is not sold on this movement but he is also experiencing technical difficulties on the field.

So what is the vote at so far?

I really don't like the idea of changing thread titles. If the title doesn't the follow the rules it should either be changed quickly or closed alltogether.

Changing the name just would be confusing imo. There are times I can't check the board for days or weeks, threads would just seem gone if many names changed. If they are changed there definetly needs to be a moderator note of some kind on the thread title.
