I was briefly the bass player in a hard rock band called Diminished Responsibility.
I once talked a mate out of naming his band To Be Confirmed - anyone seeing the adverts would just assume that the venue hadn't booked anyone yet.

The previous band with the name is long gone, and we got the name from Dave Barry's Guide to Homes and Other Black Holes like they did, we are not ripping them off.
<! My brother and I, along with two of our friends, are in the process of recording the first Death Penis album. Our serious band, which has songs written but is on hold until DP finishes, is called Disparage. Death Penis are a grindcore/metal/electronic/disco hybrid and are not to be taken seriously, Disparage is the serious band and will be a combination of old school black metal, death metal, and hopefully some melodic metal.> |
