Yes I will be posting the results. I have final exams next week and then I have 3 weeks off before the next semester starts. I plan on getting it cut during that time. I have no idea as to the style I am going to get done though. I want something that does not really take any maintenance. I hate doing my hair. As amazing as it sounds all I have to do is brush it when its long, its easy. But the showers take forever and I hate that.

I would, IMO, keep the long hair. It is more accepted now and I like it.
If you want something with less maintenance you could cut it shorter but keep it shaggy. Maybe where you can just wake up, wash and if needed brush. Use your hand to keep it in place and pushed back out of your face. Between 2-4 inches. Or you could just buzz it off and not worry about styling with gel or other hair accessories and brushing. Just wake up and go. |

I cut my hair in the mirror just the other day... at the moment, I have no idea what the back looks like, and I have this big poof on the top, and I'll assess the remainder tomorrow before work, but I found it necessary. For some reason, I despise hair and the maintenance of it, though this is solely applicable to me. I love the look and flare of hair on others, but for me, I've never had a nice cut, always had to wait three weeks until it grew out again afterwards to see semblances of normalcy, then withn another two to five, it would become too long once more. This is about the third time I have lopped off my own hair in the last year, so I guess I'd call it practice.
