The worst foods I've ever had.... # 2 The hot dog I had in the Atlanta airport in 1986. I couldn't stomach the smell or sight of hotdogs until my next one in 2005. I still haven't fully recovered from 86. #1 My dear departed mother's tomato aspic, may she rest in peace. Every holiday, every family get together, every celebration......... tomato jello, but it smelled like a sour bloody mary, without any flavor at all. |

I've had bear and quite enjoyed it. However, with bear, its all in the preparation. Since bears hibernate, they store up lots of energy in the form of fat. Therefore, bear meat is VERY fatty/greasy. Even if you trim away all of the visible fat during butchering, there is still going to be plenty of it in the meat. This means that you must slow roast bear meat, much the way you would a hog, only slower and longer. I also recommend a good barbeque sauce, as the meat will have, even after all that slow roasting, a slight gamey/wild flavor, not unlike that of duck. I've never heard of bear being used in any sort of sausage or pepperoni. To my mind, it doesn't seem a good meat for that usage. as for the worst thing I've ever eaten...green beans absolutely detest the little fuckers |

Yeah, I can't take the Durian. It just smells too much like ass. I'd rather have the rotten shark that smells of ammonia that they have here in Iceland.

Jackrabbit is kind of icky, too.
Octapus isn't too bad, but if you shake-and-bake it and cook it long enough, you can bounce it on the floor like a superball. I remember this from my childhood. |
