Ah, Mister beat me to it. Well met, good sir.
Still, not a good place to jog. |

Reminds me of.... Why does it have to be follow the spiders? Why cant it be follow the butterflies?
Personally, I think its fabulous! |
That photographer was awfully brave to crawl along that path to get the shot he did.
He's lucky he didn't get carried away |

that might be the most horrific thing I have ever read! Wow i suffer from arachnophobia but also love torturing myself, i have to stare and be around the spiders at the pet store and i always watch any nature show that shows spiders and it freaks me out to point i feel like there crawling on me lol |
This is ironic.
Just this morning I woke up and there were similiar spider webs like those all along the bushes outside. As I was intrigued, I searched around for the spider and found it. Pretty big, it is. I think I'll take a picture of it tomorrow when it's lighter. Edit: I also think I'm one of the few people who isn't scared of spiders :orly: |
"At first, it was so white it looked like fairyland," said Donna Garde, superintendent of the park about 45 miles east of Dallas. "Now it's filled with so many mosquitoes that it's turned a little brown. There are times you can literally hear the screech of millions of mosquitoes caught in those webs."
I found that tasty little bit in an article someone had done about it from -pun intended- my part of the woods. :D |
hhh

Damn, them mosquitos must be good eats for those spiders.
|
We kindof have a pet spider - huntsman spider has built a web across one of the motion activated lights in our backyard - in the evening when he gets hungry he runs across the web and turns on the light. Moths and such being attracted to the light then fly straight into his web.
We've named him Terry - he's getting pretty fat now though. |
How can one spider spew so much web?

Good God. That is the stuff my nightmares are made of (literally, I've had nightmares about going through areas that were covered in cobwebs).
