I was really excited about the iPhone when I first read about it...
But as it goes on and on I'm really glad I wasnt one of the first on the wagon... I really hope they make some improvements (replaceable battery and Verizon compatibility)

ziadel is IN, just like me!
As far as I understand it, there was an issue with the compatibility of Verizon phone software and the OS used on the iPhone. I can't remember specifics, as I heard about it in a conversation and not from a news source, but it wouldn't surprise me. The "Get It Now" program for downloading, images, games, ringtones, etc. is already established and would have to be reworked to work on a completely new OS. cest la vis. If the phone improves (cheaper, bigger HD), I could switch to AT&T. |

This whole battery thing is pretty silly. Sure apple gouges you on replacements but so does every other cell manufacturer. Many intentionally put low quality batteries in theor phones in order to get you on the upsell later on. At least you know you will be getting a quality battery in you ipod or iphone.
