w00t! My sister-in-law told me this was supposed to be a lucky year for us. (We're both boars, and one of my brothers, too.) I'm still not quite sure why it's supposed to be lucky, but I hope that means we'll all be showered in riches! :p

Massive celebrations here (and time off from work).

The city has been quiet as the majority are off celebrating with family. The streets are preternaturally quiet with only bewildered tourists and people like me with no family wandering about.

It is odd being the minority culture for a change.

Though I was invited to toss some Yusheng and, as a married person, I gave out some ang pow. Also in lieu of a reunion dinner, I had a friend over and made her dinner.
