I'm hoping ours goes well - it's our first V-Day as Husband and Wife, and with luck (and planning) all the surprises I've worked out for my love will score mucho-brownie points.

We exchanged our presents on the 29th....Dave was supposed to be in Israel tomorrow but his leave date got changed lol

I got a set of 13mm black pearls and he got a "not made for sale" golden snitch antenna ball

Daniel... I suspect yours will go well as you sound elated.
It is our first Valentines together as husband & wife as well and it is going great! We decided to do some celebrating early as he has class tomorrow night. We went and had a great dinner and then just did some browsing around and went for a drive. After we got home I gave him his gifts but I won't get mine until tomorrow. Of course the best gift will be later on!

This last Valentine’s Day was the first Valentine’s Day for my girlfriend and myself, but unfortunately Old Man Winter and or Mother Nature decided to give us the gift of crappy weather, so we spent the day apart commutating by phone. But as Valentine’s Day is a concept and the general nature of concepts being abstract, we celebrated our Valentine’s Day on the 15th.

This was my first Valentines' day spent single in the last several years. I got a text message from my ex, which was a very sweet thing to do and while I did appreciate the gesture it didn't exactly tug at the heart strings in a good manner. So I went out to my chosen watering hole and shot some pool with some other single friends and we had a good time after setting down the ground rules that if you were going to talk about relationships you had to buy a round for each instance.

I've got the love of my life and a job that I enjoy most of the time. Life is good.
