6 word stories.
I just read http://blog.wired.com/sixwords and I thought it was a pretty fun thing to try out, so here is the challange. Write a six (6) word story about something meaningful, important, sad, excting going on in your life.
Here are a few examples from the article: Failed SAT. Lost scholarship. Invented rocket. - William Shatner Gown removed carelessly. Head, less so. - Joss Whedon It’s behind you! Hurry before it - Rockne S. O’Bannon Kirby had never eaten toes before. - Kevin Smith These are more literary works, but what I want is something a bit more personal. 6 words is just enough to get the point across, but not divulge too much. "Goodbye" she said, tears barely ran. Let's hear yours!

I was debating putting it in either one of those, but I kinda wanted it to be less nonsence, and more of a personal exercize. It's hard to convey the things in your life with any amount of words, but for some reason, only getting to use 6 really simpilifys things. Problems don't seem so huge, pain, not as bad. Just look at the one from hemmingway, it follows the rule, and it also puts you in the "know" and you feel bad for the person. If people want it moved to nonsense, I say let it be moved, but there is a still a lot of insight to be gathered into the lives of people if we read between the lines of the 6 words they write. Romance is fleeting, Warcraft lasted longer.
