are they ok?ethical I mean?I have heard there is a black market for them where childrens hair is shaved and sold against their will.
Even if the hair is given voluntarily,its sold for profit and the sellers get a pittance of its market value..I have heard many women in certain countries donate it to the church or to their religious leaders who then sell it to westerners ,and hve also heard its the hair of convicted women,women prisoners and shaved as either a punishment for the crime or as a compulsary procedure on admittence to prison...

I have seen so many womenwith these,celebrities and otherwise and just wondered what people thought.

many non profits collect hair for those in chemo therapy... i've cut my hair a few times but never given my hair to any NPO.

i will accept donations...

I have also heard they come from horse hair. I dont hitnk i believe that though!
