Marijuana Gumballs?
 

I saw this video clip on www.cnn.com (if someone knows how to link that in, appreciated). My last marijuana thread degraded into a legalization argument. Haha I don't intend this one to do the same.

Basically, someone is buying masses of gumballs with a smiley face on them, drilling out the back side (you know, the hollow kind) and packing them full of marijuana extract, and then selling them individually. Some 17 yr old high school students got caught with them.

To say the least, that has got to be the most creative scheme I've heard of yet. Where were those when I was in high school!?

To give this thread a bit more of a begining direction... Most inventive, odd, or unusuall ways you've seen, read, or heard about drugs being smuggled and marketed?

There was a CSI episode where cocaine were converted into a cement like substance and it was made into table until it was discovered that one of the agent got high from the table's dust being sanded.

We used to drop hits of liquid lsd on the bellys of teddy grams. After they dried they were quite portable that way, much more inconspicuos than a visine bottle.

"Marijuana gumballs - - BRILLIANT!" (I'm enjoying a nice guiness at the moment too..)

Well I can garauntee it was a stoned inspiration, lol. But the whole marketting aspect of it is what has me floored. And the inconspicuousness of it... Other than platic baggies filled with gumballs, lol.

Would be the perfect way to catch a buzz rather innocuously just about anywhere.

I've heard of drugs being smuggled into NZ by desolving them in water, then putting that water into these things like lavalamps, but with sparkly things in them. Basically when it gets where it's going, you evaporate the liquid and are left with the crystals. I think it was meth.

This reminds me of the stories of people putting acid in temporary tattoos when I was a kid. Of course I know noone who ever saw one of these, but everyone was like "what if a child gets ahold of one of these?".

I remember in elementry school being told by the DARE officer never to take a temporary tattoo from a stranger...

i've heard in the news once that afew mexicans filled a landscaping pickup truck's bed up with about 2000lbs of drugs, soo i was next to overflowing... then they just threw a tarp over it and tried to drive across the boarder... but the customs officer asked to see under the tarp and they got busted :lol:

What I used to do for my extreme shoulder pain was to make a Tincture of canibis, which is how early medicine was made.

You take an ounce of herb and you put it a jar and cover it with grain alcohol. Store it in a cool dark place for a couple months, the alcohol leaches the THC out of the canibis. Put a few drops in a cup of tea and no more pain. A nice buzz is a side affect I could live with.
Now I have a script for Marinol, legal THC pills. I found Marinol on google, talked to my doc and now I have bottles of the stuff.

Haha, yea, I've seen this done. Though the kids I saw do it would take that tincture, put it in an eye dropper, and then quirt a few drops onto the tongue regularly.

Another group of friends, during harvest, and the rest of the time as well, would put all the stems in the bottom of a captain morgan bottle that was a quarter full or so. Few weeks later, they'd take shots, of the somewhat less potent (than a full tincture anyway) alchohol.
