Hey Clavus, how are you at drawing really drunk people?

There would be lots of illustrations like that.
I can draw people that look really good to the drunk people who view them.

Your book should be printed on the insides of beer bottles, so the reader has to finish the bottle to see the next chapter.

So, should I go back to the gastrointestinal specialist and collect money for him "testing" my prostate?

I've been a guinea pig twice.

The first time I got to look at series of pictures and sometimes when certain pictures showed up I would recieve an electric shock in my hand. They measured my anticipation of pain by checking how much I sweated. Afterwards my hand felt tingly and weird for a couple of hours, but I guess I got off better than Pavlov's dogs. I got some movie gift cards for my pains.

The other time I was swathed in pale yellow hospital blankets and put into one of those brain scan machines. They use liquid nitrogen to cool the magnetic field generator down (the magnetic field is 1.5 Tesla!) and I was going to lie there for half an hour so the three layers of blankets were necessary. My head and jaw were locked firmly to place by a terrifying contraption - I could literary not move my head one millimeter - and on my cheek, my fingertip and the arch of my foot little tubes were placed. They would let out a tickling puff of air sometimes, somewhat depending on the pictures I once again got to look at. It was much more pleasant than getting zapped. Contrary to what one might think, these two experiments were completely unrelated. Apparently it's a popular set-up. This time I got about $40 and AWESOME X-RAY PLATES OF MY BRAIN!!!!!!! I count these among my most prized possesions. After all, how many have solid evidence of them actually having a brain?

I didn't get paid for it but I also didn't pay for my hospital visit when I gave birth to my daughter. I was in labor for 22 hours and during that time I saw (I think) 3 or 4 rotations of med students chaparoned by my Dr and multiple nurses who came in about ever hour or more to see if I had dialated any further. I ended up having a C-section after which I routinely had med students checking in on me and those students were always checked on shortly after by a regular nurse. I was even willing to allow a student to remove my staples 3 days later. It was very educational as the nurses and Dr's were explaining every last detail and answering questions often. I even asked questions and learned way more about labor, C-section, anemia, etc. than I think I'd ever learn from my regular Dr. The Dr's had expected to spend time teaching and did not mind taking the time to teach the patient a well.

I'd be willing to do drug trials so long as I was able to benefit from the drug - i.e. new allergy medication or something else that I needed anyway. I've done searches for studies going on for various maladies that I endure at times and have never found any very close by since we're so far away from any major hospital or research center. Most studies require an extended period of frequent Dr visits to monitor the progress of the patient and I would not be able to cooperate with that from long distance probably.

It only took half an hour, so that's he best hourly wage I've ever got... and besides, hello? X-ray plates of your brain? Priceless. Once word was out on the street that there was a woman on Karolinska who paid guinea pigs with brain piccies she had no problems finding volunteers.

If they were going to take me to stage 3, I'd have asked for a raise.
