Different job titles
How many different job titles can you get with your education?
From Computer Technology diploma and Bachelor of Information Systems degree, I can get the following: IT Analyst Programmer Analyst System Developer Systems Engineer Software Developer Technical Team Software Engineers Quality Control Specialist Technical Software Developer Real-time Software Designer/Developer Anything relating to information and technical systems, software development basically. The list above are actual job titles of graduates from the program I'm in. In the name of mods...strike me down and banish me to hell if this topic has already been discussed. |

This probably isn't the best day to answer this...I'm pretty disgruntled and stressed about work right now. However, with my BA and MA I really don't have many lucrative title.
Basically, I'm a classroom teacher. However, everyday I take on other duties, I am a.... nurse counselor mediator babysitter body guard social worker data analysist (wow that actually sounds important) Curriculum planner Instructor Yea, I'm just a plain teacher who has to do a million different things, but still be called teacher on a daily basis.

With any luck, I'll be able to add 'Esq.' to my name in a few years. Not that I will, mind you, but still, pretty cool. And I've always liked "Master of Philosophy"

BS in Elementary Education w/minor in Bible
Child Care Provider Teacher Substitute high school teacher Music Teacher High School Bible teacher (in parochial school) Secretarial Production Control Engineer (not exactly in the education job description but I've held that position.) and who knows what else I could manage. With only a course here or there I feel like I could work dozens of other jobs by nature of the fact that an education degree gives you a well rounded education in many areas. It's not a specialist of course. But you have to know your Math, Science, English, etc. at least well enough to take you through teaching it to students all the way through Junior high. I've substitute taught Algebra, English and Science in high school as well.
