What became of Tilted Magazine?
Tilted Magazine never really took of like perhaps it should have. The domain seems to have expired (http://www.tiltedmagazine.com/), but the forum is still open.
So just curious - is the magazine gone for good, or will there be further editions? Also was the domain purposely allowed to expire...or was that accidental?

I was actually thinking about that this month.
We only really came out with one issue, and we started to put together a second, but that never really.... panned out. I think Artelevision was in charge of it... Man, don't see him 'round these parts much anymore. |

Public interest waned such that literary and technical support was difficult to obtain, and keep. Lots of people would immediately say "hell yeah, let's do this!" but when it came to telling those people "ok then, let's get to work", many just... couldn't or didn't find the time.
It's an extremely daunting task, one that Artelevision and Halx managed to pull off the first time through the help of many talented individuals. It was a huge undertaking, but the reward was great. The second time around, the project was simply too huge for the lowered number of people working on it. Tilted Magazine was great, but the sheer number of available/reliable talents required to get such a monster off the ground is simply not possible to secure at this time. If it's possible to do so in the future, Halx will make the announcement- though don't go holding your breath. |
