Great staircase! Now, how to get kids NOT running them up and down again, when in hurry? :D

The other ideas were really cool as well.

Yea, I suppose the new will wear off eventually & kids (& adults) are bound to play on the stairs but overall a great idea to get people to exercise.

I think the speed camera lottery won for that year (2009) but I find it difficult to drive the speed limit, not because I like to drive at excessive speeds but simply because I constantly have people driving up my tailpipe whenever I drive the speed limit. The brake treatment only seems to make them more determined to drive even closer or try & pass.

This country seems overly obsessed with instant gratification including instantaneous transportation. Invent beaming technology & rule the world.

I just leave early so I dont have to rush, this must be an outdated concept.

If I got it right, they filmed it in Sweden. They have very good traffic behaviour in general. At least that's what my dad said, and he used to drive a truck allover Europe for decades.

At work we only have basement, 1st and 2nd floor. I choose stairs for two reasons: trying to keep fit and trying to avoid any chance I could get trapped in elevator.

Yea, the original idea came from an American but it was implemented in Stockholm, Sweden. From the looks of the video I'd say thats definitely not the US..........

Not bragging here but I'm in better shape now than when I was in the service, I wear 32" waist jeans.............being a building contractor & working my ass off all last summer didnt hurt...........I went through 7 different helpers who were half my age & none could keep up with me, thats a fact. Kids today, I just dont know.............:)

BTW, I'm almost 50. :)
