This is the thread to display them in all their holy-gosh-begone-glory. So, jump
right in; the water's fine (actually, it's 100% purified by the grace of His Name).

I like this picture. It makes me smile. Every time I see a nun I think "bored and mean." I guess I was ignorant to them.

Thanks!

Not for nothing, but instead of re-creating this article, ripping all the images, and displaying them here, I instead, highly encourage you all to visit this link and read it in its original nature.

It's really quite a creative story, and right hilarious:

Thanks, I really appreciate the comment, Xerxys; any response, I'll lend an ear to, really.

Also, I didn't have the time to address it when I orginally set this topic, but I think for now, if anyone wants to participate here in the future, please restrict yourself to only PG-13 images for the time being.
(meaning: implied nudity is somewhat okay, but don't go beyond that. I'd prefer not to have another NSFW tag slapped on prematurely.)
I'm sure this thread will progress to that next level in short order, but the natural thinker in me says I'd at least like to see this bloom creatively and humorously at first, and then the bloomers can come off.

basic reasoning is that the portrayals should not go beyond what has already been posted by uncle_phil and Fly above, as well as what I now post down below:

sorry this is late, but I just came up with a great pun for this image: "Nun Shall Pass"

[buzzfeed.] + [gigantor.]
more nun puns for your amusement:

- If a priest is called a white collar worker, then a nun would be a creature of habit.

- A nun was kicked out of the order for inappropriate attire: her sheer habit.
- Several elderly nuns were in their second floor convent one night when a fire broke out.

They took their habits off, tied them together to make a rope, and climbed out the window.

After they were safely on the ground and out of the building, a news reporter came over to one of the nuns and said to her, "Weren't you afraid that the habits could have ripped or broken since they are old?

The nun replied, "No, my boy, don't you know old habits are hard to break!
not a pun, but a cocktail joke (one I remember reading in Playboy) ...
- One day, the head mother tells the two new sisters they have to paint their room without getting any paint on their clothes. So one nun says to the other, "We'd better take off all our clothes and lock the door."
They do this and begin painting. Soon they hear a knock at the door. "Who is it?" they ask.
"Blind man!" comes the answer.
The nuns look at each other and one says, "He's blind, he can't see anything. Let him in."
The man walks in and says, "Hey, nice tits. Where do you want me to hang the blinds?"
This is "Nunsense".

It's a big change of pace for Sister Magdalene, S.S.C.J., of San Antonio, Tex.,

Sisters from all over the U.S. attending special summer classes at St. Edward's University

I really don't know anything else about the image. I've had it for many years.
I love the image and have gone back to look at it many times and have come to the conclusion that perhaps they are not really nuns. I determined this by the earrings on the woman to her left.

Nun of your beaches

I've come to realize something very coincidentally-astounding over the past week, and that is, from most of random sources, even when they don't actually state where they got their images from, more and more of them I end up eventually finding at this vast repository.

So, like the quoted image, I eventually discovered it in time to have a caption, date, and photographer to add to it in order give some context to the photograph.

Sister Mary Katherine entered the Monastery of Silence.

'The Priest said, 'Sister, this is a silent monastery. You are welcome here as long as you like, but you may not speak until directed to do so.’

Sister Mary Katherine lived in the monastery for 5 years before the Priest said to her, 'Sister Mary Katherine, you have been here for 5 years. You may speak two words.'

Sister Mary Katherine said, 'Hard bed.'

'I'm sorry to hear that,' the Priest said, 'We will get you a better bed.'

After another 5 years, Sister Mary Katherine was summoned by the Priest. 'You may say another two words, Sister Mary Katherine.'

'Cold food,' said Sister Mary Katherine, and the Priest assured her that the food would be better in the future.

On her 15th anniversary at the monastery, the Priest again called Sister Mary Katherine into his office. 'You may say two words today.'

'I quit,' said Sister Mary Katherine.

'It's probably best,' said the Priest, 'You've done nothing but bitch since you got here.'
