"I'm on a Tiger" - the revamped Old Spice Ads
Old Spice and Wieden+Kennedy continue to display their willingness to push comedy in advertising with this new set of Old Spice ads. This time utilizing the comedic genius of directors Tim & Eric from the Awesome Show to push the deodorant. Plus they all star the amazing Terry Crew, the titan of all comedic actors. also originally seen here: Videos that make no sense at all, #36. (also, in case nobody immediately recognizes it: I'm lampooning SecretMethod70's new avatar, as well as getting started on my April Fools' month prank. I hope not to wear this avatar for too long thereafter.)

I wonder if any of the short vignettes now starring Terry Crews have aired on mainstream television as of yet, or if there is a chance that the commericals' production and viewership was meant from the onset to be solely web-based (perhaps meaning that the comedy in the advertisements were aimed towards internet humour, than general audience humour)?

I love that part---just the way he says it, in his "how cool and awesome I am doesn't end" kind of way.

Well, it took nearly a month, and camping out at some acquaintances of mine who actually use their TV for viewing purposes (I use mine like a radio) but, yes, I've finally seen these commercials on synidicated television. That it matters that I only know of one channel that runs them (ESPN) doesn't perturb me as much as just knnowing they are out there. Wait, that doesn't make sense; I love these spots (so why'd I use the word 'perturb'.. weird)
Also, for anyone willing to respond, is there an inside-joke that I picked up on in the "Zoom" spot, or am I just crazy? Why is there a tiger in my bathroom? - TFP thread

and as a closer to the thread, two quick-hit commercials (meaning: 20 seconds or less) for Old Spice that I have never seen before, perhaps you as well,
both dealing with the topic and season of "Summer"; enjoy, ladies:
