Old Spice and Wieden+Kennedy continue to display their willingness to push comedy in advertising with this new set of Old Spice ads. This time utilizing the comedic genius of directors Tim & Eric from the Awesome Show to push the deodorant. Plus they all star the amazing Terry Crew, the titan of all comedic actors.

And the TWiT episode where Leo LaPorte interviews the guys at Wieden+Kennedy who made the commercial...

I wonder if any of the short vignettes now starring Terry Crews have aired on mainstream television as of yet, or if there is a chance that the commericals' production and viewership was meant from the onset to be solely web-based (perhaps meaning that the comedy in the advertisements were aimed towards internet humour, than general audience humour)?

look at your man, now back to me. floors me every time I see this commercial.

Well, it took nearly a month, and camping out at some acquaintances of mine who actually use their TV for viewing purposes (I use mine like a radio) but, yes, I've finally seen these commercials on synidicated television. That it matters that I only know of one channel that runs them (ESPN) doesn't perturb me as much as just knnowing they are out there. Wait, that doesn't make sense; I love these spots (so why'd I use the word 'perturb'.. weird)

Also, for anyone willing to respond, is there an inside-joke that I picked up on in the "Zoom" spot, or am I just crazy?
