Let's just say it's sickening. I've heard a secondhand description of a tree worker getting pulled into one of the wood chippers they use for trees, and he came out as "nothing identifiable, just a red mist." There was a viral video a while ago of live cows being thrown into an ISS shredder meant to handle engine blocks, and ... yeah.
