by Ryan Nicholson's father. (almost-) author's comments: “I wanted to share a project with you that I started over the past month with my father. My dad Larry Nicholson was a commercial photographer in Kansas City for many years and I started working through his archive and posting my weekly findings on a website. As you will see my dad shot a little bit of everything from knights to circus elephants. I thought you might enjoy it.” [rachelhulin.]

Very nice, Vizzini! Somewhat like that "Luke Skywalker on Tauntaun" cosplay, one can't help but wonder how much time, detail, and funds are used in all to create these wearable works of art.
It also reminds me of this portrayal, which I found earlier this week: New Transformers Costume 2 by ~orudorumagi11 ; Photography by Dallas Nagata ; seen at Kawaii Kon (which was held on April 10-12, 2009, in Hawaii Convention Center) [smugmug.]

I think it will be almost immediately obvious why I've bothered to link this video:
Wikipedia "Caramelldansen" if you don't get it, but, honestly, can't you just appreciate the girl and the bouncing? Edit: I have no idea why it's double posting the video and a bunch of random code that I can't seem to edit out... Edit 2: Thanks Jetee! Last edited by Frosstbyte; 05-26-2010 at 01:38 PM.. |

Cosplay in Japan... (play on My Neighbor Totoro) .. is either one of two things: beautifully-intricate, or exceptionally-creepy (sometimes a coalescence of both) ; the sure thing, though, is that, as a whole, they don't half-ass the effort.
