How to be Punk!

I don't know if anybody will get the same kick out of this as I did, but it had me rolling, so I figured I would share it anyway...

This is so sad. This type of "punk" makes my company so much damn money.

Funny read, though.

Also, it reminds me of http://www.hipsterrunoff.com/

Wow....punk is being satirized. It's worse than I thought.

Punk is long dead.

It's not dead, it's just been stolen by the corporate machine...

We still have something left to hold onto, you just have to look harder.

What has the corporate machine stolen that hasn't been killed off?

That's what the beats used to say even while Madison Avenue feasted upon them.

The corporate machine has been stealing our scene and killing it from the get-go. We still persevere.

We're a lot more aggressive than they ever were.

You can't tell me that the punk rock I experience on a daily basis isn't the real thing. We're still as pissed off as ever. It's just kind of hard to act on it in the same way now that we're being demeaned from every angle, even by people who claim to be of our ranks. Nay, especially because of those people.
