Perhaps he was teaching at a school with an overwhelmingly Congolese majority who was afraid that he would steal their penises.

Every once and a while I read a story that makes me think the entire freaking country's gone crazy. Unless there's something else to this story, a fact that been omitted or something, this is one of those stories.
WTF? Indeed.

Sapiens, thanks for not flaming me on my ham-fisted knock on penis stealing.
Can you share your story on how the sorcerer stole your penis and how you've managed to function since then? You're among friends here.

The_Jazz, thank you for last post. It displayed a level of sensitivity more befitting an admin.
The theft happened to a friend of mine. It wasn't pretty. It wasn't pretty before the theft either. Or so I have heard... Damn sorcerers! I can't believe that they're infiltrating our schools. Fortunately, my son isn't in school yet. |

Sapiens, it's times like this that make me proud of the internet. What other way could we find out about this issue and find a way to combat grand theft penis?
I humbly suggest that we change the name of the site to Theft oF Penises. Maybe one day we can wipe this scourge from the face of the earth, along with all the penis-stealing sorcerers out there. I'm not calling for a genocide of penis-stealers, but perhaps we can round them up into camps where they can focus on stealing each others penises.

For a second there, I thought this was an Onion article. I guess it just goes to show that there are stupid people everywhere. Absolutely ridiculous.

Screw the mass media. I don't trust them any more to tell a story straight. Just about everything is filtered or distorted through the lens of sensationalism and money making.
Lately, I've been reading recent articles about the Columbine shootings, and about how the media fixated on so much misinformation about Harris and Klebold, in the weeks and months after the shootings. Now, we're finding out the truth that... ...Harris and Klebold weren't on antidepressants ...They didn't specifically target jocks, blacks, or Christians ...Neither of them liked the music of Marilyn Manson ...Neither of them were rejected outcasts, and neither of them had been bullied by other students, at Columbine ...Neither of them were members of the "Trenchcoat Mafia" |

I regard it largely as infotainment these days. None of it is objective; all of it is skewed by bias. It's all equally worthless to me. The so-called MSM (mainstream media) is a hollow joke. I pity and scorn all who rely upon it as their sole source of data concerning what's happening outside of their local environs. One has to employ considerable bullshit filtering and skepticism to have even a chance at getting at the "truth".
