For many people the hardships visited upon the men and women who sacrifice their lives for ours are distant and not their issue. For such people these photographs are probably the closest they will come to truly realizing what our troops give up so that we might have a comfortable and rewarding life.

Thank you posting this. Having participated in delivering the remains of one of my friends to his wife, I can only sympathize with what these Marines have to go through. It is definetly something that neither I nor they will ever forget.
