I congratulate their intrinsic creativity, since it translates to overall fun and hilarity the multitudes of situations thy are able to create.
The closest thing I can compare to the Japanese gameshow genre is(was) the variety of gameshows that aired on Nickelodeon in the early-mid 90's (granted, mostly kids played them, but they were interesting and challenging to say the least).
