while it's not during work hours... it still is a fun environment... I mean there's a ping pong table fer chrissakes!!!!

we had an airhockey table in one of the conference rooms, a pool table, foosball, some stand up arcade games. but all that went away with the CBS merger... well they kept the airhockey table.

and someone else who did a similar one at a party...

Because it's extremely easy to imitate. You don't need special effects or even much editing to make it look good- in fact, as these people did, doing single-shot vids can be much more fun, if harder, to make. Even though this doesn't really parody the original, it's still not so far off base (party atmosphere) that you wonder what the hell they're doing. Plus, the words are easy and clear, so lip-syncing works well.

And it's a fun song.
